Rosie O'Donnell Carved Emu Egg

This carved emu egg features actress, comedian and talk show host, Rosie O'Donnell.

Born Roseanne Teresa O'Donnell on March 21, 1962 in Commack, New York, she was the middle child out of five.  Her mother died at when she was 10.

Like most girls growing up, Rosie dreamed of being an actress, but not a comedian.  Instead of being the class clown, Rosie was the class president and prom queen.  Discovering by accident that she had comedic talent (She did a Gilda Radner takeoff) in the high school follies, she began polishing her stand-up comic technique.  By the time she was twenty, she took her act on the road, doing a series of one night stands.  From there she branched into movies and television.  To date she has been in 13 movies.  Currently the host of her own talk show, Rosie has 4 adopted children.  She is not married.

The Rosie O'Donnell Carved Emu Egg comes with a hand  turned hardwood egg stand and can be personalized.

Because of the variations of color and texture inherent in the emu egg itself, each carved egg will be unique and make a distinctive addition to any decor or collection.  If you are looking for a "different" housewarming gift, birthday present or other special occasion gift for a Rosie fan, this  would be ideal.
